We have just returned from a lovely 2 week holiday in Middle Lodge at Netherby Hall after our holiday was delayed by 12 months.
From the start I dealt directly with the staff at Netherby Hall and they were so helpful and friendly, this continued in person throughout our visit. The teamwork, sense of pride and commitment to the Netherby Estate is evident.
We were blown away by the lodge, lovely big rooms, light, airy, well equipped, immaculately clean and so very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the massive, enclosed and private garden where we had a couple of barbecues and enjoyed quite a few meals. Our dog loved it too and acted as unpaid guard dog whenever any vehicle entered the estate.
When we needed to we made use of the log burning stoves and smart TV. The kitchen was a pleasure to work in with good quality and modern appliances and utensils. I have to say that the slipper bath in the main bedroom was just the height of luxury.
