Evening with Dr John Little, author of A Very Satisfactory Manner

October 5 at 6:30 pm

£6.00 – £25.00
Netherby Hall, Gunroom Entrance

Spend an evening indulging in the 1885 Netherby Hall robbery story with Dr John Little, author of A Very Satisfactory Manner.

Let Dr John Little take you on the journey of mayhem and murder. With a chance to see the room where the jewels were taken.

Dr John Littles words…

In 1885, three London villains stole the jewellery belonging to Lady Graham of Netherby Hall, and made off toward Carlisle with their ill-gotten gains.

In their bid to escape, they left a trail of mayhem and murder which led, ultimately, to an appointment with the hangman.

Dr John Little will speak about their crimes in the very place where the burglary took place, with an opportunity to see the room they entered and escaped from.

There will be an opportunity to buy his novel based on this episode in Cumbrian history, a series of the most shocking villainies that have ever taken place in the county
