The breath-taking Walled Garden
Go behind the scenes with the owners and the team managing the property.
To bring the Victorian stables at Netherby Hall back to life in the original style to be used not as a museum piece, but as a working stable.
The project included restoring the stables complex to be used again as working stables, coach-houses and grooms quarters' and to house all the facilities required for the maintenance and upkeep of the horses and carriages.
You will experience the breath-taking beauty and serenity of the Walled Garden, run as a fully working kitchen garden to supply recently awarded 3AA Rosette and MICHELIN Plate restaurant, Pentonbridge Inn, also part of the business and only a few miles along the road.
Dining at the Pentonbridge Inn
The Walled Garden and surrounding buildings have been lovingly restored and now boast 2 modern glasshouses in the Victorian style, where you will see the growing stages of the tomatoes, micro herbs, passion fruits and more.
The garden is framed by ornamental beds, and here you will find lemon verbena, one of the botanicals we grow for our own Walled Garden Gin.
