Subject to product availability, we aim to send products within 2 working days unless they are listed with a specific delivery date.

If you order multiple items, they may be dispatched at different times, depending on availability. Consequently, they could arrive separately. We will endeavour to send all your goods in one parcel.

We ship all parcels via Royal Mail. We will retain the postage receipt with the dispatch reference number. If you have selected a tracked service, once dispatched you will receive an email with a tracking number for your parcel.

Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays.

Ordering and dispatch

Non-perishable items

Orders received by 11.59pm Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the next business day and delivered via Royal Mail. Orders received on Friday to Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday.


Returns Policy

Non-perishable items

After you receive your goods, you can return any item to us for a refund as long as it is unused and returned in the original packaging. Please notify us of returns within 24 hours of receiving your delivery, using our email address info@netherbyhall.co.uk.

Returns must be made at your own cost within 7 days of receiving your delivery. Returns must be received in their original condition. For hygiene reasons, we cannot offer a refund on any opened goods unless the product is faulty.

Perishable items

We do not accept return of or offer a refund on perishable goods since they are not covered by the statutory 14-day cooling off period and may not reasonably last as long as the stipulated cooling-off period for online purchases.

Damaged products

If any of your products are damaged in any way upon receipt, please call us on 01228 792732 or email us at info@netherbyhall.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt. Please send an image of the damaged product along with your order number and an explanation of the problem. If the products are faulty through no fault of your own, we will happily replace or refund the affected item/s.

Returning goods to us

To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, please package your item with care. Items valued over £50.00 should be returned to us using a trackable delivery service. If the order is valued at £100.00 or more, we recommend you ensure your return for the value of the product and use a signature-required delivery service.

Note: Simply refusing delivery of a parcel is not a trackable means of return and will not be accepted under our return policy. You should accept delivery of an item that you want to return and contact us to initiate a return procedure, as explained above.

Cancelling an order containing non-perishable goods

When you shop online you have the right to cancel your purchase for a full refund until 14 days after delivery. Please note that perishable goods are exempt from this statutory cooling-off period (see below).

Please make sure that you are happy with your Basket before making payment and completing your order.

    Netherby Hall, near Carlisle, was named the winner of its category at the 2024 Cumbria Tourism Awards on Tuesday, July 2.

    As winner of the self-catering accommodation category, Netherby Hall will go forward to represent the county at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2025.
