Stephen Clark – Recipient of the 2016 Sir James Galway Rising Star Award, 1st Prize winner of the 2018 IMKA Music Competition and 1st Prize winner of the 2018 Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition, Stephen Clark has given over a thousand performances across 6 continents and made his New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall in 2018. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Northern College of Music and in Switzerland with Sir James Galway. Regularly invited to perform at flute festivals across the globe, he has given solo recitals at the Conventions of the British Flute Society, the National Flute Association of America, the Sir James Galway Flute Festival in Switzerland as well as the Florida Flute Convention, Wisconsin Flute Festival, Mid-South Flute Festival, St. Louis Flute Society and Mid-Atlantic Flute Conventions in the USA.
Ashley Beauchamp – British pianist and conductor, Ashley studied on the opera course of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has a long-standing relationship with Glyndebourne Opera and conducted the world premiere of glass human (Fernando) for the Glyndebourne Tour 2022. He has worked as assistant conductor on L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti) and the world-premiere of Pay the Piper (Appleby, Cruttwell-Reade, Livingston & Robertson), conducting one performance of the latter. The 2024/2025 season sees Ashley returning to Glyndebourne as assistant conductor for La Traviata (Verdi), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) and as assistant conductor and chorus master for the world-premiere of Uprising, a new opera by Jonathan Dove.
Live Concerts at Netherby Hall are hosted in conjunction with Absolute Classics, a charity connecting individuals with the world’s finest music.
